- 1 cup favorite BBQ sauce
- Kosher salt and black pepper, season to taste
- 6-8 chicken legs (drumsticks and thighs) skin on, bone in, about 4 pounds
Preheat your grill to medium for about 15 minutes.
Combine BBQ sauce and one cup water and stir.
Liberally sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and place on the grill. Cook for 15
minutes. Turn the pieces of chicken about every 5 minutes. After the first turn start
brushing with the BBQ sauce.
When you notice the chicken skin starting to crisp and darken liberally add the bbq
sauce and cook for another 15 minutes.
Turn heat up to high and baste with the BBQ sauce one last time. Turn one more time
and remove from grill.
